wielrennen 2010 voor renners met een handicap : de T1 en T2 renners
werden samen geklassificeerd (?), wat het volgende resultaat geeft

- 4. Olivier Geraerts (T1). Zoals eerder gemeld moest Gerry Meyen

werd in Asse tijdens de inmiddels befaamde “7 van Kettelo”
(de “world’s most charming time-trial”) het Belgisch
Kampioenschap 3wielrennen gereden, sinds 2006 opnieuw georganiseerd
nadat in 1890 Léon Lhoest als laatste de titel won.
Er stond geen maat op de Belgische kampioenen van 2009 : Joeri Meyen
uit Tielt-Winge (Sanitef-@Finas-Deko Tricycle Team) bij de mannen
en wereldkampioene Hilde Verbeken uit Aalst (Sanitef-@Finas-Deko
Tricycle Team) bij de dames waren de snelste. Joeri Meyen zette
ondanks de sterke noordwestenwind zelfs een nieuw record neer :
hij reed de zware 7 van Kettelo tegen een gemiddelde van 37 km/uur.
Het Belgische 3wielrennen komt stilaan opnieuw op de kaart te staan,
na een onderbreking van meer dan 100 jaar. Dat zal ongetwijfeld
ook bewezen worden tijdens de Wereldkampioenschappen die dit jaar

titel en andere overwinningen vorig jaar en is ontegensprekelijk

het paralympische circuit. Komende zondag start Gerry ook in de

is 3wielweb present met een Try a Trike event tijdens de "Grote
RA-Bewegingsdag" (RA = Reumatoïde Arthritis)
op de Campus H.Hart van de KH Leuven, een organisatie van de RA
Liga. De bedoeling is RA patiënten wegwijs te maken in het
sport- en bewegingsaanbod en aan te zetten tot meer beweging. /
On Saturday March 20 3wielweb is present at a very special day in
Heverlee, Leuven with a Trike a Trike event. On this day people
suffering from rheumatoid artrites are invited to come and try out
different sports. The event is organised by the RA Liga.
