@Finas, de financiële groep rond het Landbouwkrediet Asse, neemt de co-hoofdsponsorfakkel over van Flanders Fietsen. Ouwe getrouwe doe-het-zelf-zaak Deko Asse blijft hoofdsponsor. Het team vat met bovenstaande naam een historisch seizoen aan.
Met boegbeelden als Belgisch Kampioen 2006 & 2007 Michael Vanhaelen en Wereldkampioene 2007 Hilde Verbeken bereidt de inmiddels acht koppen sterke formatie, onder wie 7 Belgische en 1 Franse renner, zich voor op het eerste open 3wielerseizoen sinds 120 jaar. Te winnen hoofdprijzen zijn de 3wielweb Trofee, het Belgisch Kampioenschap en uiteraard het Wereldkampioenschap op 15 juni 2008 in Asse. Enkele renners van het Team rijden bovendien ook in het Paralympisch circuit.
Het Teamverleden : Flanders-Deko Asse Tricycle Team
The financial group @Finas, based in Asse, replaces Flanders Cycles to become the new co-sponsor of the Tricycle Team. The DIY shop Deko Asse loyaly sticks to the team as co-sponsor. Under the name @Finas-Deko Asse Tricycle Team, a historic season is at hand. With Belgian Champion 2006 & 2007 Michael Vanhaelen and World Champion 2006 Hilde Verbeken as prize winners the team, now 8 riders strong, 7 Belgian and 1 French, is preparing for the first open Belgian tricycle season in 120 years. Big prizes to win are the 3wielweb Trophy, the Belgian Championship and of course the World Championships in Asse on June 15. Some of the Team members also race in the Paralympic circuit.
